Chocolate and matcha? Yes, please.
This one is rich without being heavy and sweet without being too much. The cocoa brings the cosy, the matcha keeps it smooth and grounded, and together they make the kind of drink you want to wrap both hands around.

Ingredients

1 to 2 teaspoons Sip Dopa Ceremonial Grade Matcha

60ml water, just off the boil at around 80°C

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or your sweetener of choice

200ml hot milk of your choice
Method

Mix the cocoa and sweetener with a splash of hot milk to make a smooth paste.

Sift the matcha into your mug and whisk with the hot water until smooth.

Stir the chocolate paste through, then top with the rest of the hot frothed milk.

Finish with a dusting of cocoa or a few marshmallows.
Tips

A pinch of sea salt lifts the chocolate flavour beautifully.

For an iced version, use cold milk and pour over ice.
